Veiled plants

A typology of 14 photographs of veils made to protect plants from extreme heat in the town of Podor in Senegal. The Sahel region of Africa is suffering greatly from the impact of global heating–with the temperature rising an estimated 1.5 times faster than average. This series speaks of the reverence that plants are treated with in Senegal, and offers a portent of a super-heated future.
